Based on the wind models, it looks like Edenton will see 35-57 mph winds which makes it extremely dangerous. Possible Event Cancellation Due to the approaching tropical storm Irene, with forecast for the storm to become a hurricane later this week, the upcoming NC B.A.S.S. Federation Nation team trail event scheduled for the Chowan River on 8/27/11 may be canceled/rescheduled.
