Collier and Ligon take the win on the Perquimans

Stop number four for the Five County Bassmasters took place on the Perquimans River in Hertford, NC. Post-frontal conditions, including strong North East winds made for a tough day. For many club members this was their first visit to this coastal river making for a more challenging event.

Ed Collier and Red Ligon took top honors with 9.00 lbs. Second spot went to Alan Sudman and Ronnie Thompson with 7.40 lbs. Finishing in the third position was Mike Brinchek with 5.73 lbs. Wayne Worley captured the lunker for the event at 3.03 lbs earning him a 5 point bonus for Angler Of The Year contingencies.

The next stop for the Five County Bassmasters will be on Falls Lake.
