Brent Boyette would like to thank each and everyone for their support during his week long venture at the 2012 B.A.S.S. Federation Nation National Championship in Alabama. “It was a once in a lifetime experience” said Boyette during a recent phone conversation. “I wish I could have finished better, but regardless of the standings, I had an experience that I will never forget. I had a great time and was able to enjoy something that I’ve waited a long time to be a part of.”
Brent would like to pay a special thanks to his wife and children for their support and motivation. He also would like to thank Chuck and Lori Murray for all of their participation and support during the event.
Additionally, Brent indicated that he received several phone calls before and during the week of his championship event. He also received numerous e-mails and Facebook posts wishing him well. “I know I had tremendous support from family, friends, club members, and North Carolina B.A.S.S. Federation Nation members from all of the calls, posts, texts, and e-mails. And for that, I am very grateful. I simply cannot say Thank-You enough” said Boyette.
Brent, as fellow Five County Bassmasters club and NCBFN member, you have made us proud. You are the perfect example of the weekend angler that clubs all across America are made of. You work long hours to put food on the table and provide for your family with little else in return. Your freedom from the hectic pace and everyday challenges of your farming life is simply a cast away. Yet, that cast sometimes has to wait until the job is done. “Work before play” is certainly in your nature. And for that –The dedication that your put in – You certainly deserved your week in the spotlight. Congratulations on your achievement!
