We kicked off the second half of the season with our 5th event at Roanoke River on Saturday with 30 boats. It was a nice transition from the lakes to a river for stop number 1 of 3 river events. There were a lot of fish caught with 21 limits weighed in and several fish over 4lbs. With the afternoon storms rolling in it seemed to turn on the bite for several.
Nick Godwin and Shane Godwin finished in the top spot with a nice limit of bass weighing 18.54bs. Nick also had the lunker fish that weighed 5.91lbs.
Danny Hayes and Ryan Hayes finished in 2nd place with 16.48lbs.
3rd Place: Joe Lybrand – 16.26lbs.
4th Place: Terry Whitley and Ben Yansom – 15.27lbs. 5th Place: Matt Kimbrell and Jamie Williams – 14.85lbs. 6th Place: George Sullivan and Henry Ray – 14.47lbs. 7th Place: Ed Collier and Angie Narron – 13.12lbs. 8th Place: Andy Miller and Randy Parker – 12.92lbs.
