We held our 6th event at Chowan River on Saturday with 24 boats. We dedicated this tournament to club member Smitty Benson. Smitty was a great friend and fisherman with our club and he will be missed. We held a moment of silence before blastoff, and sent him out as our boat #1 with a shot of a flare out over the river.
Tyler Little and Tim Little crushed it with a nice limit of bass weighing 25.04lbs. Tim had lunker for our last event at Chowan with a 9.22lb bass, but Tyler couldn’t let his dad beat him on this one and weighed in a 9.38lb bass.
